Wetsuits are classified in Class 9 because "wet suits" is in the Nice Alphabetical List in Class 9. A wet suit is a close-fitting suit made of material such as rubber that is worn especially in cold water to retain body heat and that traps a thin layer of water against the body. Wet suits are used for diving and for watersports and are classified in Class 9 by analogy with diving suits in the Class 9 Nice Heading.
