This is the generic trade term for a small explosive charge which is used, via a harnessing of the gases produced by the explosive reaction, to propel or inflate other items, such as vehicle airbags. This is distinguished from electrical generators in Class 7 and chemical or catalytic gas generators in Class 11 (which produce gases by other than explosive means).
