Generally, the wording, "component parts" is broad and should not be used by itself without further specification of the individual component parts. Pursuant to the Nice General Remarks, component parts for guns are classified in Class 13 because "goods intended to form part of another product are in principle classified in the same class as that product only in cases where the same type of goods cannot normally be used for another purpose." Please note that other parts of guns are not in Class 13, such as gun scopes and telescopic gun sights in Class 9. Component parts for guns is acceptable wording; further specification is acceptable, but it is not required.
