03-13-2025 - Work clothing that is life preserving or that protects from life threatening injury or accidents must specify a "life-preserving" or "protection against accidents" use or purpose and is classified in Class 9 because "clothing that protects against serious or life-threatening injuries, for example, clothing for protection against accidents, irradiation and fire, bullet-proof clothing, protective helmets, head guards for sports, mouth guards for sports, protective suits for aviators, knee-pads for workers" appears in the Class 9 Nice Explanatory Note. Protective industrial clothing is also classified in Class 9.
