Maintenance services in Class 37 involve the restoration of objects to their original condition or the preservation of objects without altering their physical or chemical properties. Database maintenance and software maintenance are classified in Class 42 as computer services. Maintenance of data in computer databases is classified in Class 35 as an office function. Care and maintenance of animals and maintenance in the nature of gardening services are classified in Class 44. Legal services, namely, trademark maintenance is classified in Class 45.
