Arranging and conducting of conventions is classified in Class 41, under Nice 11-2021 by analogy to "arranging and conducting of conferences, congresses, symposiums" in the Class 41 Explanatory Note, regardless of the subject matter or overall purpose of the service activity. In addition, identifications for arranging and conducting of conventions must indicate the field or subject matter of the convention in order to provide public notice and to enable the USPTO to reach informed judgments concerning likelihood of confusion under the Trademark Act. See TMEP §1402.01.
