01-24-2012 - This entry of 12-03-2009 was withdrawn from the Approved Trilateral List in Class 9 and deleted from the Manual in Class 9 because the identification could include machines in Class 7 pursuant to the changes concerning electric apparatus under the 10th Edition of the Nice Agreement. 01-01-2023 - "Queue ticket dispensers of metal" is classified in Class 6, and "Queue ticket dispensers, not of metal" is classified in Class 20. "Ticket vending machines" is classified in Class 7, and "Ticket dispensing terminals, electronic" is classified in Class 9. Generally, under Nice 12-2023, dispensers are considered storage containers for holding items and dispensing them, as needed. They are classified in Class 6 when made of metal and in Class 20 when they are not made of metal, regardless of whether the dispensers are fixed or un-fixed, automatic or non-automatic. Please consult the ID Manual for specific exceptions to this general rule.
