Under Nice 11-2019, identifications for additive manufacturing must specify that the services are custom or are performed for others, or similar wording, to indicate that the services are performed for the benefit of third parties. Additive manufacturing refers to a process by which digital 3D design data is used to build up a component in layers by depositing material. The term "3D printing" is commonly used as a synonym for additive manufacturing. 01-01-2025 - Effective 01-01-2025, identifications for additive manufacturing services must specify the goods being produced.
