03-23-2023 - The term "doula" is typically defined as a person who is trained to provide advice, information, emotional support, and physical comfort to mothers before, during, and just after childbirth. Doula services are classified in Class 45 based on the wording "personal... services rendered by others to meet the needs of individuals" in the Class 45 Nice Explanatory Note.
